Marmalade Session 2025 is on.
Marmalade will be held at Discovery Park Eden from the 28th March to the 4th April
Programme and Prices,

Friday 28th March
6pm, "The Travellers Delight soup kitchen", for those who have travelled far we offer three yummy soups with rolls and butter to enjoy around the fire pit while you get to know your fellow crafters.
Bring a chair ,bowl and spoon.
Cost , gold coin donation.

Saturday 29th March,
8.30am Acknowlegement of country.
9.00am Registration, no wristband ,no carve
9.30am Beginner spoon carving with Phil and Nat. Learn the basic skills required to carve a spoon from a log using Axe and knife.                                      Cost,$75 pp
9.30am, Felting Workshop #1 with Vivien Naimo , in this workshop you will learn to felt a flower and a small bowl.    
                                  6 places,cost $50pp

Lunch

2 pm Beginner spoon carving continued.
3pm Make a glass bead with Molly.
                                                 cost. $20pp

7pm The Big Feast
An experience of a lifetime. Watch as a whole deer is cooked to perfection over an open fire in the "Asado Cross 'style from Argentina. Served with delishious Paella (vegetarian option available).
A meal to remember.              cost, 35pp

Sunday 30th May

9.30am , Learn to cut a crank and take your spoon carving to the next level will Polly. It's the crank that stops your knuckels dragging in your dinner.
                                                  cost $75pp
9.30am Nuno felted silk and wool scarf workshop #2 with Vivien.
Create a beautiful scarf to wear.
                                                  Cost $60 pp
10 am Natural fibre weaving with Carol
 Create beautiful flowers and cordage using native glasses,flax and other materials.
                               Cost, gold coin donation

Lunch

2.00 pm Chopstick making with Chris.
Learn how to make a Sushi platter and the chopsticks to go with it a walk away with the tools to make more.
                                                   cost $250pp
3 pm Glass bead making with Molly
                                                   Cost $20pp
3pm TBC , Side axe demonstration with Peter.
Take a trip into history and see how a round log is turned into a rectangular beam using a side axe.
4pm , Photographing nature with John.
take a walk with John and come to grips with your camera or phone.

6.30 The Hooligans Dinner
Join us for a stroll down the beach to the Beautiful Seahorse Inn for a scrumptious dinner.

Monday 31st March
There is a cruise ship coming into Eden today with over 3,500 passengers on board and we are trying to arrange stall spaces on the mainstreet of Eden for those who sell there wares and have market insurance.Numbers are limited so let us know if you are interested and we will see what we can arrange.

Marmalade will continue at Discovery Park with Polly and friends.

9.30am Make a 3 legged stool with Jono using hand tools only.

2.00 Polly will be running a Spoon Clinic where you can get help and advice on all things spoonie.

PLEASE NOTE
Everybody attending is required to pay a $50 entrance fee which covers you for the entire week.
Family ticket $100 2 adults/2 childen
(Children must be over 15 and supervised by an adult to attend a carving class)
Anyone using wood is required to pay another $50
We would ask that you pay for the admission ticket, and wood use up front. You can also pay for your workshops once we have given you confirmation.
The cost of the Saturday night Dinner is $35 and again we ask you to pay this when booking.
